Day-to-day functions include the following: • Preventative maintenance • Repair services • Installations • Upgrades at an Arjo Service Center or onsite at a customer location (hospitals) • Assess, provide cost estimates, and complete repairs for customer-owned medical equipment • Assist the sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc.) • Ensure reports are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines • Manage local and van spare parts inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline or suitable repair and maintenance experience with electrical equipment • 3 years of experience in a technical, repair, or maintenance related field • Medical equipment experience a plus • Electrical and mechanical assembly, repair or maintenance training and/or certifications preferred • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics • Ability and willingness to travel as needed on short notice • Approximately 20-30% overnight travel • Ability to move medical equipment, including ability to lift to 30 pounds and push/pull heavy objects using up to 70 pounds of force.
