Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic – ASE Certified$20.00–$45.00 Hourly | Flag Rate Pay + 30 Guaranteed Hours Weekly.
They perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general automotive maintenance. Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation, and potential travel within a near geography for training are required. • Doing preventative maintenance repairs—like replacing or rotating tires—and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles.

Perform all maintenance and preventative maintenance on a variety of media to include but not limited to: Mobile equipment, plumbing, electrical, dock doors, levelers and related dock equipment, concrete floor repair, painting, carpentry, rack repair and all related facilities maintenance. Working knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance and repair, this includes fire systems, chains, bearings, gearboxes, motors, conveyor belts, lifts, and many other areas that require maintenance due to wear.

Maintain documentation of required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
