or delegate responsibilities to themEstablish departmental responsibilities and coordinate functions among departments and sitesFocus on accountability of department heads/managers and other employees delegated responsibilitiesLead and collaborate with the marketing department to portray the experiential elements of both venues by "telling their stories" to drive sales and facility utilizationLead the sales department utilizing CRM, data, and sales trends for tournament and event bookingParticipate in marketing road shows and calls with prospective teams and tournament partners to drive salesIdentify community and national marketing partnership opportunities and collaborate with marketing and ownership to maximize marketing salesOversee the build out of a robust concierge program in conjunction with venue attraction partnersConfer and collaborate with ownership, Sports Facilities Management advisors & support team, and staff members to discuss issues, coordinate activities, and resolve problemsCoordinate the development and implementation of budgetary control systems, recordkeeping systems, and other administrative control processesDirect and coordinate an organization's financial and budget activities in order to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiencyDirect human resources activities, including the approval of human resource plans and activities, the selection of directors and other high-level staff, establishment, and organization of major departmentsDirect, plan, and implement policies, objectives, and activities of organizations or businesses in order to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments, and increase productivityImplement corrective action plans to solve organizational or departmental problemsPrepare and present reports concerning activities, expenses, budgets, government statutes and rulings, and other items affecting businesses or program servicesRepresent the organization and promote its objectives at official functions, or delegate representatives to do soServe as liaison and represent venues at community organizations, with stakeholders, sponsors and outside monitor continued training seminar for staff on various operational, safety, and legal responsibilitiesAny additional duties assigned by the VP of Venue ManagementMIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business management, sports management, marketing, hospitality, related field, or equivalent experiencePrior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversight responsibility of $1MM or greaterProven management and leadership experience in the food and beverage, recreational, and entertainment industryOperational knowledge of F&B and entertainment, as well as parties, corporate events, and team building preferredPrior experience in contracting or overseeing others who have sold corporate sponsorships, birthday parties, corporate parties, tournaments, leagues, camps, and other related services preferredPrior experience managing marketing programsA minimum of 7 years of management experienceOperational knowledge of risk managementSkilled at identifying and creating opportunities to deliver revenue goalsSports programming and sports event operations expertise requiredTRAVEL REQUIREMENTSTravel as needed for the purpose of recruiting week-long and other premium customer, vendor, and partner relationships, attend industry trade shows, and to participate in SFM leadership conferences and General Manager meetingsWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL
