Registered Nurse Cardio HCA Healthcare IncRegistered Nurse CardioMyrtle Beach, SCEducates patients on cardiovascular diseases, including but not limited to preventive measures Helps diagnose and treat cardiovascular events Assists in performing diagnostic tests such as ECG's, EKG's Initiatives Holter and Event monitors Interacts with the patients as well as their families pre and post treatment Monitors the patient and their vitals, especially cardiovascular readings Assesses and interprets lab results Possesses knowledge of ACC/AHA guidelines related to heart failure Makes critical decisions concerning the initiative of emergency medical procedures as appropriate Maintains an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients. What you will do in this role: Uses critical thinking skills to assess facts and make rational decisions quickly and effectively when working with patients who have heart complications Participates as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the treatment of cardiac - vascular conditions such as heart failure, heart valve disorders, high blood pressure, vascular disorders, heart attack and arrythmia Interprets data and responds to urgent situations in a way that optimizes patient care and produces positive outcomes.
