Lead Medical Assistant

Performs routine patient care responsibilities such as taking vital signs, venipuncture (blood draws), collect specimens, EKGs/ECGs, and laboratory Point of Care Testing. The MA should be proficient in taking vital signs, giving medications by various forms in their scope of practice, EMR, phone etiquette, flexible, and a fast learner.

Medical Assistant - Float

The main responsibilities include rooming/triaging patients, taking vitals (i.e. pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height, EKG, medication reconciliation), and recording information on the patient electronic chart using EPIC. As a Medical Assistant II, you will provide clerical/administrative support in a clinical setting and will assist in the overall day-to-day patient care and clinical operations of the clinical practice at the Medical Center location.

Medical Assistant II - General Internal Medicine/Geriatrics

The Medical Assistant will provide support to clinicians and patients before and after their appointments and will work directly with multiple providers to provide high-quality patient care. Delivers staff education, clinical in-services, and /or participates in clinical staff meetings based on the needs of the department and as appropriate to scope of practice of an MA.

Medical Assistant II - Vascular Surgery

As an MA II, you will perform routine patient care responsibilities but also very specific in-suite testing procedures in addition to clerical/administrative support in a clinical setting and may provide guidance to other MAs. Delivers staff education, clinical in-services, and/or participates in clinical staff meetings based on the needs of the department and as appropriate to scope of practice for an MA.

Confirm patient appointments 1 - 2 weeks out by ensuring patients receive new patient paperwork to complete prior to their appointment and are aware to bring any medical records that are relevant to their visit.
