Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI), located in the heart of Atlanta, is recruiting for a full time Cardiac Electrophysiology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Advance Practice Provider Electrophysiology Clinics in the North corridor including locations predominantly in Jasper, Canton and Ellijay with occasional Blairsville clinic. Our APPs independently provide specialized care for patients pre and post electrophysiology procedures including but not limited to EP study, ablations (CTI, PVI, AVNRT, SVT, VT, etc.
p>Key Responsibilities: Ambulatory care responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Functions as an independent provider in a busy outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine office with MDs available to assist in evaluating complex patients as needed.
- Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures including Home Sleep Tests, In-lab Polysomnography, Chest X-rays, Chest CTs, and Pulmonary Function testing.
