The position includes face to face contact both individually and in groups; assisting individuals in developing a recovery plan and achieving objectives; assisting individuals in selecting services and/or program offerings that will be useful in achieving their recovery goals; offering support and mentoring as needed in the implementation of the recovery plan; and, exploring, securing and utilizing each clients support network and/or community resources. Scale 1: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrated written and verbal skills, knowledge of practical self-care skills, ability to deal effectively with persons with mental illness, current PA drivers license and access to a vehicle during work hours.
