Job Summary: Quality Technicians are responsible for conformity inspection, source inspection, auditing, documenting, reviewing and recommending manufacturing process improvements, mentoring/training/assisting inspectors, DMIR activities Essential Functions: Evaluate products and processes in accordance with engineering drawings, samples, inspection requirements, process specifications, procedures and other approved reference sources to verify compliance Obtain certification for and perform customer DQR source inspection and FAA DMIR activities Receive training as needed to conduct Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) programming and back up duties for inspection Assist in the preparation, review and approval of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Perform internal audits to comply with internal and customer guidelines.
