Facilitate and track all aspects of appointments, promotions, reappointments, and credentialing for faculty (clinical and research), officers of research, student officers and other medical staff; Interpret procedures related to faculty ranks and title structure as defined by the University faculty handbook and university statutes in collaboration with the Office of Faculty Affairs; Liaise with International Student & Scholars office to complete Visa processing and extensions for international hires and employees; Process letter of non-renewal (LON) requests, stipend terminations and resignations; Assist the Chair's Office with the Committee on Appointments and Promotions (COAP) and the Tenure process; Review, edit and post Faculty and Research positions in the University's Academic Search and Recruiting (ASR) and posting of job advertisements in outside sources/websites. The candidate must have the following skills: Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, interpersonal, superior verbal and written communication skills, be detail oriented, be able to make quick and precise decisions based on experience and knowledge; Strongly motivated and have strong interpersonal skills; Have highly proficient Microsoft Office skills, be comfortable working with databases and computerized financial systems; Be able to identify priorities within multiple assignments in a high-pressured, short-deadline environment.
