  PURPOSE STATEMENT:

  Plan, direct, define and coordinate individualized and group therapeutic support and services to patients with behavioral problems, psychiatric disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse and physical and emotional abuse.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: State licensure, as required by the state in which the facility operates; which could include: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW). What you will do as a Social Worker Supervisor: Plan, direct, define and coordinate individualized and group therapeutic support and services to patients with behavioral problems, psychiatric disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use and physical and emotional abuse.

Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in a clinical setting providing direct patient services preferred Knowledge of or experience with patients' rights, advanced directives, adult and child abuse laws and emergency detention required.

p>10 Works collaboratively with other members of the health care team, including medical staff, case management,

pain and palliative care members, Hospice and other community agencies to provide support and ongoing.

5 Utilizes specialized clinical skills to evaluate assessment information gathered specific to lethality (i.e.

suicidal/homicidal) to determine if patients meet involuntary psychiatric hospitalization requirements under.
