Duties will include but are not limited to leading a team of estimators, participating in, and implementing win strategies, preparing conceptual estimates using historical and current market data and metrics, presenting estimates to executive management and clients, reading and interpreting documents, soliciting subcontractors, analyzing drawings and specifications, providing lowest cost design options for the lowest cost installation of construction, value management, reviewing and assisting with proposals, and other duties as required to prepare cost estimates/proposals for various types of work, including self-perform. • Develop the logic behind the project schedule (sequencing works/work breakdown structure) • Communicate and present details to executive management, permitting agencies, stakeholders, owners; keeping stakeholders informed of the status of the project through regular meetings/reporting • Analyze drawings and specifications to evaluate risks and opportunities and engage with engineers to ensure design process is on schedule.
