DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as Project Manager for specific projects and activities; works with Security and Technology Services (STS) Management on priorities and timeframes of projects; plans work and schedule for projects; coordinates interaction between interrelated project teams; reviews and assesses progress of projects and activities and takes corrective action where necessary Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements Is required to follow methodology, the Project Management Approach for The Systems Development Lifecycle Assists Agency management and project stakeholders in information technology planning related to the program Clarifies expectations and defines requirements. Escalates to the management and project sponsors any issues, change requests, and schedule impacts Coordinates with agency management and resources responsible for ongoing maintenance and support of components post-implementation as needed for knowledge transfer and for coordination with new implementation Estimates, tracks and reports on costs, including potential hard dollar, and internal personnel and contractor hours.
