p>Under general direction, plans, schedules, assigns, and reviews the work of water treatment staff within the Water Utility Division; coordinates, monitors, and provides technical input for assigned water treatment, maintenance, construction, and repair projects and other special programs; provides technical assistance to the Water Utility Manager; performs a variety of technical tasks relative to the repair, maintenance, and alterations on a variety of facilities, buildings, water distribution pipes, water well pumps, motors, controls, and chlorination equipment; and performs related work as required. Coordinate water quality monitoring program; schedules water sampling events, performs groundwater and distribution system sampling; compiles summary of test results; track test results to ensure regulatory compliance; analyzes test results tracking specific constituents; maintains data base of water quality monitoring and testing; maintain logs of daily activities and keeps accurate records.
