Ā· Participate in quarterly multidisciplinary case conferences, including Substance Use Disorder Services, Family Support Services, and Care Management.
SFS primarily conducts home visits, utilizing a structured problem-solving approach for clients with at least one child aged 0-5, who can benefit from enhanced parenting skills, have an open or historical neglect case, lack resources or social support, are in the Independent Living Program, are undergoing substance abuse treatment or mental health care, or have shown a lack of supervision and safety. SafeCare Family Services (SFS) at Flagstone Family Shelter & Kensington Family Shelter offers an evidence-based, in-home parenting skills curriculum designed for Brooklyn-based parents at risk of or with a history of child maltreatment, particularly those living at the shelter.
p style="margin:0px">Assists ICF Supervisor in providing care for residents by assuring clothing needs are met, personal and recreational supplies are maintained, and personal safety is assured by close supervision of residents, in order to maintain a proper quality of life for residents. In conjunction with the ICF Stie Supervisor ensures that all staff are trained on all aspects of the program plan, all required annual training including but not limited to assigned annual trainings, incident reporting and abuse prevention, SCIP and CPR.
