p>Knowledge of: - facility maintenance to include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance, grounds maintenance, and a wide variety of other maintenance related tasks;
- the work order process to include processing invoices, requesting quotes, and prioritizing work orders to determine funding;
- engineering principles;
- State of South Dakota procurement regulations;
- State of South Dakota codified laws;
- State of South Dakota adopted building codes;
- State of South Dakota contracting procedures and requirements;
- military construction regulations;
- OSHA guidelines for general industry and construction.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A minimum of 36 months experience as a facility manager with at least 24 months as a supervisor of five or more employees, or a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field with at least 24 months experience as a facility manager and at least 36 months as a supervisor of five or more employees or 60 months experience as a facility worker with at least 36 months as a supervisor of five or more employees is preferred.
