Typically requires a Bachelor''s Degree and four years applicable experience, or the overall equivalent; Familiar with government owned, contractor operated manufacturing sites in the Army industrial base; Product quality experience pursuant to government contracts in energetics industry or chemical manufacturing setting; Leadership experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, Manager, or similar; Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel; Highly efficient data entry, data management, and data analysis skills; Proficient in statistical analysis; Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail; Highly effective communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to interact and disseminate information with individuals at all levels in the organization; Able to support 2nd shift hours. Your included duties: Oversee and manage a staff of up to 12 Laboratory Techs on a rotating schedule; Mentor and lead the team through daily work processes and troubleshooting; Ensure continued registration to ISO 9001; Act as the point of contact for external and internal customers regarding product quality issues; Strive for continuous improvement, drive down cost of poor quality, and improve efficiency while maintaining a strong "Safety First" culture; Work with local stakeholders to improve the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS); Through the Quality team, continually work to reduce quality escapement risk, modernize and enhance analytical and inspection capabilities, and improve efficiencies and business processes.
