High school diploma or equivalent Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (where required by law) Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Willingness to obtain DOT certification 1+ year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred 1+ year experience in a medical receptionist or fast-paced healthcare setting preferred Strong understanding of medical insurance processes (deductibles, copays, coverage) preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred Ability to type 30+ WPM and comfort using Google Suite and EMR systems Exceptional multitasking, time management, and critical thinking skills Calm and focused under pressure Professional, empathetic, and team-oriented.
