The successful applicant will have expertise in some (but not necessarily all) of the following core course areas: software applications for the built environment which include AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and associated design visualization programs, residential construction, commercial construction, interior materials, three-dimensional design, building systems, and sustainable design. The school resides in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute that recently transformed undergraduate curriculums to incorporate innovative learning environments, strong industry involvement, and team teaching in active learning classrooms.
