Primary duties (performed the majority of workdays): Plant, cultivate and harvest assorted vegetables including, but not limited to, summer squash, arugula, basil, sweet potatoes, bok choy, broccoli, swiss chard, tomatoes, beets, turnips, watermelon, winter squash, napa cabbage, cantaloupe, carrots, cilantro, collards, cucumbers, daikon radish, dill, eggplant, fennel, cut flowers, sunflowers, garlic, green beans, salad greens, kale, lettuce, okra, onions, parsley, hot peppers, bell peppers, perennial herbs, spinach, potatoes, radicchio, red radish, raspberries, celery, rutabaga, scallions. Workers will participate in all farm tasks related to mixed vegetable production including: seeding, planting, watering, weeding, trellising, harvesting, washing vegetables, the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops.
