As a part of our manufacturing group, you will be responsible for supporting production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participation in startup, changeover, and shutdown of operating equipment.
Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required.
li>Must perform Quality Checks with the use of gauges and visual inspection per In-Process Inspection Reports while running production.
Ability to perform repetitious tasks, occasionally subject to frequent changes in job assignment as requested by Supervisor.
Some responsibilities may include general housekeeping, support to Line Operators, assisting in the BDR, working in the Lab testing product, batching, unloading sugar trucks, helping the bulk line, working in the refinement area, stacking product, and assisting in rework/repack operations. Able to autonomously setup, run, changeover and troubleshoot multiple technologies on a production line with various types of low-tech and high-tech equipment; this may include filling, labeling, packaging and palletizing equipment across single or multiple lines. This includes lifting up to forty (40) pounds, standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, reaching overhead, pushing, and pulling for up to eight (8) to twelve (12) hours daily.
