You will be instrumental in both new product development and ongoing engineering efforts, advocating for product excellence from conception through the entire product lifecycle.
In this critical role, the Product Manufacturing Engineer will bridge the gap between product design and manufacturing operations.
The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: Education and/or Experience: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. This role focuses on executing test plans, collecting and analyzing data, and supporting product development teams in validating new technologies and designs.
Leveraging established playbooks for domain modeling, detailed design and specification, and continuous delivery, you will help teams navigate ambiguity and turn complex problems into clear, actionable solutions.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution. Interfacing with cross-functional team members (marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, technical service, quality, regulatory, etc.) to ensure successful program delivery.
