USI/Asteelflash is actively looking for a highly organized and talented Process Engineer to help support the Engineering activities at our location in Milpitas, CA.
Beyond technical process design, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to troubleshoot assembly bottlenecks and drive the evolution of our current and future vehicle platforms in a fast-paced , innovative environment. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance.
Position Overview: The Development Process Engineer/Technologist performs experiments to develop novel metal 3D printing processes under the supervision of senior engineers and technologists and works with senior staff to put together project plans and detailed experimental designs. The VELO3D award-winning solution includes an integrated offering of hardware and software: Sapphire metal AM production printer, Flow print preparation software, Assure quality assurance and control system, and an integrated manufacturing process that runs throughout the printing operation.
