As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the conceptualization, design, implementation and testing of technologies, tools, or processes while consistently demonstrating technical expertise and ingenuity.
p>Technical Expertise: Maintain and continually enhance deep domain knowledge in the Electro-magnetic Transient (EMT) Studies, such as sub-synchronous resonance (SSR), control interaction (SSCI), ferro-resonance, temporary overvoltage (TOV), switching overvoltage (SOV), transient recovery voltage (TRV), harmonic, energization, small-signal and large-signal control stability, etc.
This role ideally will be based at our DNV office in Dallas (TX), Austin (TX), Houston (TX), Oak Brook (IL), Portland (OR), Seattle (WA), or Medford (MA), presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site.
