p>Job Description: Administrative, technical and supervisory work with architectural and engineering (A/E), design and construction consultants/contractors, and the staff of the DPW, in planning, design, initiating, organizing, coordinating and managing various public building projects from long term and preliminary needs assessments, including feasibility studies, through design, construction, reconstruction, installation, demolition, maintenance or repair of any building through implementation, operation and maintenance, with primary emphasis in the areas of Town-owned vertical infrastructure management; defines problems and needs, and determines methodologies and action to be taken to deal with them; all other related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in architecture or civil engineering, and possess more than seven (7) years of progressively responsible relevant experience in the design, construction and supervision of construction of large complex buildings in Massachusetts; or possess more than fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible relevant experience in the construction and supervision of construction of large complex buildings and projects in Massachusetts.
