The Associate Director plays a critical leadership role in advancing Davidson's residential experience by ensuring efficient, student-centered housing operations, facilities coordination, access management, occupancy processes, and service delivery for the College's residential population. - In collaboration with the Assistant Dean and Director, provide strategic oversight for housing-related customer service across Residence Life, including central office operations, student inquiries, parent/family questions, and campus partner communication.
The director will work closely a variety of Student Life and campus partners, including Residence Life, Student Health and Wellbeing, fraternities, sororities, and eating houses in collaboration with Student Engagement; General Counsel, Title IX Coordinator, members of the Student Honor Council, Code of Responsibility Council, and Student Conduct Council. Ability to connect effectively with faculty, staff, students, and campus partners to share the value and importance of student conduct processes as a learning experience within the college/university setting; and ability to work independently and collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff, and other community partners.
