li>Serves as a primary financial and analytical partner to the Departments for compensation planning, including: Development, evaluation, and ongoing refinement of faculty and provider compensation plans; Review and analyze productivity-based and supplemental incentive programs and associated requests for compensation and incentive payments; Monitoring of compensation alignment with productivity, market benchmarks, and institutional policy; Partnering with faculty and administrative leaders to interpret productivity and compensation data, supporting informed decision-making around recruitment, retention, and resource allocation; Other evolving needs that arise in a complex academic medical center environment.
Partners with departments to prepare quarterly UCFP department reviews of financial, recruitment, productivity, compensation, clinical volumes and other key metrics for presentation to BSD and hospital leadership in effort to propel informed, strategic, and high-impact decision-making in both the short and long term.
Collaborate with team(s) in efforts related to optimize customer service and patient care (patients and employers, as well as physicians, associates, and other internal customers), and assist the Executive Director, Practice Administrators in efforts to develop superior service and quality; and. Meet regularly with leadership to develop strong relationships with providers and care teams that is essential to the successful performance of the practice and the organization; Engage and be responsible for performance of reporting Medical Directors and matrixed providers.
Responsible for managing the development process and delivering programs to include:o Program design and structureo Market analysis and assessment of program viabilityo Recruitment and hiring of instructors, including MSUB faculty and instructors from industryo Cooperate with unit sponsors to recruit, select, train, evaluate, and support qualified trainers to deliver programs and trainingo Establishment of program budgets in conjunction with the MSUB finance and accountability for meeting program revenue and enrollment targetso Implementation of established marketing plan for programso Development of program evaluation metrics• Negotiating contracts and agreements with colleges, departments, faculty, independent contractors, and vendors, in collaboration with the City College Dean and Vice-Chancellor of Administration and Finance.• The Director will: administer the daily operations of this portfolio and will assess the needs for new and additional educational offerings; work with faculty and trainers to develop course outlines and content of classes and programs; maintain liaison with academic and industry disciplines; identify and recruit faculty; arrange class locations and use of off-campus sites; arrange and develop budgets and funding resources; analyze costs; and evaluate effectiveness of programs.
