This position performs a variety of highly technical financial tasks, including but not limited to accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, debt management, capital projects, audit coordination, grant reporting, purchasing, payroll, equipment replacement, and special projects as assigned. Under the general direction of the Finance Director, the Assistant Finance Director is expected to have a strong working knowledge of generally accepted governmental accounting principles and practices and will assist with all financial operations.
