Complete and assist with 90 day and annual performance evaluations in a timely manner.9.Assist in developing methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care.10.Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining an ongoing Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program.11.Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc., as necessary.12.Assist in developing and maintaining a working schedule for the nursing department.13.Schedule daily rounds on all shifts to observe residents and to determine if nursing needs are being met in accordance with the residents’ requests.14.Participate in the interviewing and selection of residents for admission to the facility, including screenings.15.Make rounds with physicians and Advanced Practice Practitioners as necessary. Responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of Nursing Services for residents in accordance with current federal, state and local guidelines and regulations that govern the facility and as may be directed by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
