PD receives dedicated academic time to fulfill the administrative role and is encouraged to engage in faculty development through radiological and educational societies (e.g., Association of Academic Radiology, Association of Program Directors in Radiology) and GME/ACGME-led faculty development programs. Develop educational curriculum, including but not limited to, weekly teaching schedule, introductory bootcamp for new first year residents, administer pre-call exams at the end of the first year of training.
