div>Types of Activities Include: - Stay abreast of federal and state policy debates related to child care, paid leave, and family policy, and keep IW leadership informed;
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and identify opportunities to advance IW’s policy approach;
- Support policy staff with research and drafting of content for IW platforms;
- Draft policy papers and issue briefs related to family policy;
- Draft blogs and op-eds on developments in child care, paid leave, and related issues;
- Create and maintain resources tracking key legislation, regulations, and policy trends;
- Work with the State Affairs team to draft content for Action Centers and other advocacy materials;
- Engage with stakeholders, families, and policy experts to inform IW’s work;
- Work with government officials and coalitions on proposed legislation and reforms;
- Collaborate with the Independent Women’s Network team to develop campaigns and engagement opportunities;
- Alongside IW Comms, support messaging and communications strategy on family policy issues; and.
