p>This incumbent will function as an analyst within the Bureau of Mental Hygiene Services Rate Setting within the Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP) Division of Finance and Rate Setting (DFRS), and will have opportunities to work on a variety of assignments including: Data analytics and cost report management;
Medicaid rate-setting for 1915c Waiver and State Plan Amendment (SPA) programs;
Development of policy and regulations related to 1915c Waiver and SPA programs; Research and financial analysis on programs maintained by the bureau; and Preparation of rate notices, responding to provider inquiries, preparation of rate loads, and other assignments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Permanent Transfer Candidates: Current New York State Department of Health employee with permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive, status, as a Senior Health Care Management Systems Analyst, SG-18 OR; a current New York State employee with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive, service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6, 70.1 or 70.4 of the NYS Civil Service Law to Senior Health Care Management Systems Analyst, SG-18, Health Care Management Systems Analyst, Trainee 1, NS, or Health Care Management Systems Analyst, Trainee 2, NS.
