Plant Manager Jobs

A plant manager oversees the daily operations of a facility such as a manufacturing or power plant. Some plant managers receive assignments to work over a specific area or department, while others oversee an entire plant.

Daily duties of a plant manager might include:
• Assigning, scheduling and supervising workers to specific areas and/or tasks
• Collecting and assessing data to look for areas where waste is occurring and how to improve inefficient processes
• Assessing equipment and tools and making recommendations for repair and/or replacement
• Overseeing quality control practices and making improvements.
