Responsibilities: • Provide transmission analytical support and insightsto a growing portfolio of BESS, Renewable, and Hybrid projects; • Perform powerflow analysis to understand the potential risks and costs of interconnecting new generation to the system; • Assess the technical and commercial feasibility of green-fielding or acquiring projects; • Develop planning level cost estimates for interconnection facilities; • Prepare summaries, reports, and other materials of technical results to technical and non-technical team members; • Research, development, and creation of powerflow models, data validation, proposed project modeling; • Develop and streamline processes and automation to support an efficient workflow; • Other duties as required or assigned.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working with 1 or more powerflow analysis tools, including hands-on modeling experience in at least one energy market.
