The Department of Emergency Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a full-time, experienced, academic Emergency Medicine physician to lead our research mission as the Clinical Research Director.
This physician will join our faculty group at both our academic Level I trauma center, home to an established emergency medicine training program with 44 residents, ultrasound fellowship, and our freestanding emergency department.
Our physicians hold faculty appointments and participate in inter-professional teaching with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency; our program is home to the only Phoenix ACGME accredited Surgical Critical Care residency. Requirements include demonstrated skills in emergency surgery, surgical critical care, trauma patient care, and a record of teaching and research experience (health services, translational or basic science research).
p>The position would include employment through a 450+ physician multi-specialty group exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching. VWMC is a level one Burn/Trauma center serving as the safety net hospital for Maricopa County (metropolitan Phoenix, AZ).
