p>We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant to: • Provide advanced inpatient cardiac care for cardiac surgery patients • Preop orders and postoperative transplant care • Participation in Heart Failure/Shock team protocols • Participation in multidisciplinary rounds, review for appropriate billing • Clinical Management of Advanced Therapies - Impella, ECMO, LVAD • Complex wound management, chest tubes, pacing wires, sternal closure monitoring • Outpatient participation for patient work-up and continuity of care • Preoperative evaluation - VAD and transplant candidacy • Participate in transplant selection conference • Coordinate care from inpatient to outpatient transplant clinic.
Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice.
