Maintaining a clean environment for the client by handling light housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, doing the dishes, cleaning kitchen surfaces, cleaning the bathroom (no deep cleaning), doing laundry including pressing/ironing, folding or hanging laundered items in the closet, etc., changing beddings/making the bed, keeping the home free of clutter, spillages on the floor, and other safety hazards, and other light duties based on the individual needs of the client. Supporting and transferring clients who are not strong enough to move or walk on their own, including clients with a physical or cognitive disability, those recovering from illnesses and surgeries, and those taking medications that make them dizzy or weak.
