The Fort Lyon Supportive Residential Community is designed to provide transitional housing, addiction recovery, education and vocational training, case management and basic supportive services to those who are formally homeless and have an expressed desire to live in a drug and alcohol-free community in an effort to end their cycle of homelessness and promote health, wellbeing and active citizenship. Responsibilities
• Provide transportation for children and youth to parent visitation, services, and appointments as required
• Support families during parent visitation alongside peers and group service providers
• Advocate for children and families while supporting access to needed services
• Assist families with goal-setting and skill development
• Document services, progress, and concerns accurately and timely
• Report concerns of alleged abuse or neglect in accordance with policy and state requirements
• Testify in court as required
• Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams
• Meet regularly with supervisors to support professional growth
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field such as Counseling, Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, Human Services, etc.
