Serves as a member of the provider''s Care Team in coordinating the flow of patients through assisting provider with various responsibilities as requested, managing supplies and equipment, fielding and triaging phone call, and other front office tasks.
Responsible for providing routine patient care and support services in accordance with established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the nurse or physician, to assure that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained at all times. Greets all persons coming to the area assigned, answer inquiries, may direct and assist them, take and relay messages, assist with gifts, flowers, and mail for patients, run errands for department staff.
