Responsibilities: As part of a new transformational team care model to improve patient care and provide nurses and CNAs new opportunities and support, the nurse assistant will team with an experienced virtual RN (vRN) and a bedside RN to provide excellent patient care to patients in an acute care setting. Daily responsibilities include direct patient care such as maintaining a safe patient environment, feeding, bathing, mobilizing patients, answering call lights, toileting, grooming care, one-to-one sitting for safety or behavioral reasons, taking vital signs, tracking intake and output with documenting values in an electronic health record.
