The Patient Registration Representative is responsible for the admission of patients to the ASC, which includes verifying the accuracy and completeness of the patient's clinical, demographic and insurance information and entering information correctly into the patient's chart in the electronic medical record. The Patient Registration Representative communicates any delays to patients and their family members and actively communicates to the clinical areas to ensure continuity of care for patients and customer service to physicians.

Conducts staff training or education specific to their department workflows including new hire orientation and facilitating lunch and learns as needed to assist the supervisor.
