Design and develop the optical sensing system System-level prototyping, integration, characterization and end-to-end validation Schematic design of boards and flexible assemblies Conduct failure mode analysis, root-cause diagnosis, and system-level problem-solving; execute engineering builds and drive cross-functional communication to enhance product design and manufacturability Business travel up to 10% as requiredStrong electrical engineering background in analog and mixed-signal system-level circuit design, sensor design, modeling, and analog circuit simulations experiences Hands-on experience with board-level circuit design and lab equipment (microscopes, detector, light sources etc) Scripting experience for data analysis and automation BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experienceOptical Sensor and systems integration experience preferred Experience in ANSYS, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools Experience supporting volume manufacturing, including test design, failure analysis, and statistical Excellent written and verbal communication skills and solid collaboration and leadership skills Strong teamwork abilities and self-motivation to tackle technical challenges MS or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams - including Optical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Test Engineers, and Software Engineers-to deliver state-of-the-art sensing.
