Under supervision, Ability to perform basic inspection and routine maintenance of onboard computers for campus equipment; ability to assist supervisor in the diagnostic, testing and repairs of utility vehicles equipped with computer circuit boards, fuel injectors and advanced hydraulics; ability to assist supervisor in troubleshooting electrical systems, fuel injection systems, and hydraulics; ability to assist supervisor in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs for a variety of equipment including utility vehicles, loaders, trucks, snowplows, salters, electric cars, shop equipment, generators, pumps, and other small engine items. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of full-time experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson; OR completion of an appropriate two year technical school course at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services, such as the New York State Civil Service Employees Association-Partnership (NYS CSEA-P) Applied Skilled Trades Certificate Program*; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of appropriate technical courses at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.
