The LANL Readiness program provides the requirements of 10 CFR 830, Nuclear Safety Management, DOE 425.1d, Verification of Readiness to Start Up or Restart Nuclear Facilities, DOE-STD-3006-2010, Planning and Conducting Readiness Reviews, DOE Guide (G) 423.1-1B, Implementation Guide for use in Developing Technical Safety Requirements, Appendix C, Implementation Verification Reviews (IVRs), DOE O 420.2D, Safety of Accelerators, DOE G 420.2-1A, Accelerator Facility Safety Implementation Guide. Due to federal restrictions contained in the current National Defense Authorization Act, citizens of the People's Republic of China-including the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau-as well as citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), and the Russian Federation, who are not Lawful Permanent Residents ("green card" holders) are prohibited from accessing facilities that support the mission, functions, and operations of national security laboratories and nuclear weapons production facilities, which includes Los Alamos National Laboratory.
