Data Center Connectivity Engineer (Network Engineer) Pyramid, IncData Center Connectivity Engineer (Network Engineer)Monroe, LA$90–$100 / hourFull timeKey Responsibilities: Project Delivery Lead connectivity projects from planning through production turnover Develop project schedules, milestones, and execution plans Coordinate with construction managers, engineering teams, and vendors Track project progress while mitigating schedule risks Network Infrastructure Manage landlord OSP (Outside Plant) infrastructure Coordinate fiber installation and connectivity implementation Oversee rack, patch, and stack activities Support network provisioning and turn-up Troubleshoot connectivity issues during deployment Ensure production readiness before handoff Construction & Field Operations Coordinate contractors and vendors Validate engineering designs Perform QA/QC inspections Review construction deliverables Manage RFIs and Change Orders Ensure compliance with project specifications Quality & Documentation Create and maintain project documentation Support SOP and SIP development Conduct field audits Capture lessons learned and process improvements Ensure documentation accuracy throughout project lifecycle Project Controls Support forecasting and budgeting activities Monitor schedules Identify project risks Communicate project status to leadership Drive on-time delivery Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience supporting data center or network infrastructure projects Experience with network deployment and physical infrastructure implementation Experience coordinating multiple vendors and construction teams Strong understanding of structured cabling and fiber infrastructure Experience supporting network provisioning Knowledge of QA/QC processes Experience managing project schedules and milestones Strong troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Data Center Construction OSP Infrastructure ISP Coordination Fiber Optics Structured Cabling Rack & Stack Network Provisioning LAN/WAN Infrastructure BGP Cisco Networks Juniper Networks Arista Networks DWDM Dark Fiber QA/QC RFIs Change Orders Design Validation Construction Management Vendor Management Risk Mitigation SOP Development SIP Documentation Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
