Performs fit-up, grinding, straightening, burning and welding • Inspects own work to ensure conformance of parts to drawing dimensions and specifications, including allowance for machining operations if required • Weld from blueprints, sketches, schematics, bill of materials and other written and/or verbal instructions using the tools of the trade including precision measuring instruments • Handle and transport materials in a safe manner utilizing fork trucks, cranes, and other mobile equipment • Identify procedures for wedling equipment in the most expeditious and effective manner • Maintain accurate documentation such as labor entry and inspection documents • Performs all assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner • Support the Company goals of continuous improvement of quality, safety, and the reduction of manufacturing costs and lead times. Physical conditions for positions: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, maneuver within tight spaces, routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
