Distribution Supervisor Warn Industries IncDistribution SupervisorORp>Working in conjunction with Logistics and Warehouse Manager: Lead Distribution team's daily activities which would include but not be limited to: (a) Assign team members to specific tasks to support shipment and production plan as provided by the Manager; (b) Review distribution workload and schedules to meet shipping and receiving objectives, maintain accuracy and attain output requirements; (c) Supervise team members in problem-solving activities that enhance safety, quality and productivity objectives; (d) Provide key leadership and support in regular cycle counting, as well as during annual inventory process and quality audits; (e) Lead the team in working in a dynamic environment and managing space requirements for put-away, storage, retrieval of products; and (f) Manage Sarbanes-Oxley compliance of the Distribution team via internal controls, self-assessment and reporting. Lead Distribution team members by: (a) Participating in employment, training, development, team member motivation, counseling and discipline; (b) Working with team members to improve their performance and team contribution by providing growth and development opportunities via cross-training and performance evaluations; (c) Ensuring maintenance and checklist requirements of equipment and a safe, clean environment; (d) Communicating effectively across teams and shifts; (e) Maintaining metrics, records, and documentation to reflect schedules, performance, methods, and procedures for the team and reporting these to the Manager; and (f) Gathering data and making suggestions to Manager for continuous improvement initiatives in the Distribution area.
