p>A well-established manufacturer of industrial sensing solutions is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth throughout the Midwest and Eastern U.S. This is a home-office-based position (Chicago or Detroit) offering the opportunity to manage an established territory while developing new business with OEMs, distributors, and end users. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical sales resource, maintaining existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new project-based opportunities where industrial sensor products are specified into automation and control systems.
li style="color:#000000;line-height:15.75pt;background:#ffffff">Maintains good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person and on telephone. Courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities.
Physical Demands: • This role requires remaining seated at a desk/computer for 8 hours daily; repetitive use of computer keyboard and mouse; use of computer monitors for 8 hours daily; interaction though video/audio conference calls and possible use of a headset with microphone; very rarely duties might require the ability to lift up to 20 pounds and bending & standing for periods at a time.
