The Director of Nursing: is responsible for the Infection Control (IC) program for the facility, including developing policies, establishing types of surveillance and criteria, collecting data, and implementing educational and/or corrective measures as needed; must be familiar with legal and ethical aspects of health care services; must have and maintain the ability to direct and instruct employees in duties, techniques, and principles, and must be able to maintain a good working relationship with other departments. A professional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, therapists, nurses, and teachers serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually with the common goal of treating and healing trauma and building resiliency in the residents we serve.
