Perform complete, detailed, and accurate health histories • Review patient records • Develop comprehensive medical assessments • Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies appropriate for the patients complaint, race, sex, and physical condition • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals to the appropriate healthcare facilities, agencies, and other resources • Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment or stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions • Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, patient management, and treatment • Provide instructions and guidance regarding healthcare and healthcare promotion to patients, family, and significant others. • Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family • Professional appearance and attitude • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified - with 1 year ERU experience preferred outside of clinical rotations • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice • DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate as required • Able to multi-task and work independently • DOT Certification required • Urgent Care Experience Preferred.
