Our unique campus features residential staff and house parents serving as surrogate parents who mentor and tutor students, teach age-appropriate independent living skills, create opportunities to explore new interests, encourage participation in sports and recreation, assist in the exploration of career and job opportunities, and promote family living skills. In this role, you will provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development; provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students; monitor and document student behaviors and activities; participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities; work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

Takes responsibility for education and guidance of Registered Nurses regarding the nursing process, critical thinking, accountability for the plan of care and it''s relation to patient outcomes, and communication/collaboration with all team members.
